Addressing a fatal misconception
Many who struggle with suicidal thoughts believe their loved ones would be better off without them. Livslinien, a lifeline for those in crisis, hears this misconception often.
The reality is that suicide leaves behind an unbearable, lifelong grief. To challenge this tragic misunderstanding, we created a campaign for World Suicide Prevention Day that captures the real spaces left vacant by those lost to suicide. By filming and photographing these actual rooms, we show that the only thing truly left behind is a permanent, heartbreaking emptiness.
